While we strive to maintain accurate descriptions of our services on our website, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

User Accounts

To access certain features of our website or enroll in our courses, you may be required to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.

Course Enrollment and Payments

By enrolling in our courses, you agree to pay all fees associated with the services you select. All fees are as quoted on our website or in our enrollment documentation, and are payable in the currency specified.

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required to secure your place in a course, unless a payment plan has been arranged.
• For courses with payment plans, payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.
• Late payments may incur additional fees or result in suspension of services.

Course Placement

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Course Cancellation by Student

If you wish to cancel your enrollment, the following refund policy applies:

• 14+ days before start date: Full refund minus an administrative fee of €50.
• 7-13 days before start date: 70% refund of the total course fee.
• 3-6 days before start date: 50% refund of the total course fee.
• 0-2 days before start date: 25% refund of the total course fee.
• After course commencement: No refund is provided except in exceptional circumstances at the Academy's discretion.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Course Cancellation by the Academy

The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment, teacher unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases:

• Students will be offered alternative course dates or times.
• If no suitable alternative is available, a full refund will be provided.
• The Academy is not liable for any other costs incurred by students as a result of course cancellations (e.g., travel expenses, accommodation).

Individual Lesson Cancellation

For private or individual lessons:

• Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled without penalty.
• Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.
• In case of illness or emergency, rescheduling may be permitted at the Academy's discretion with appropriate documentation.

Intellectual Property

All content included on the website and in our courses, such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of LinguaNova English Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our educational materials for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with the courses you are enrolled in. You may not:

• Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content from our services.
• Use any content for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any content.
• Share your account or course access with others.

User-Generated Content

By submitting any content to our platform (such as homework, assignments, or forum posts), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media for educational and promotional purposes.

User Conduct

As a user of our services, you agree to adhere to appropriate standards of behavior. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning experience of other students.
• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct toward staff or other students.
• Cheating, plagiarism, or any other form of academic dishonesty.
• Damage to Academy property or facilities.
• Violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Sharing access to your account or course materials with unauthorized individuals.
• Using our services to distribute unsolicited promotional materials or spam.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running our services.

The Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action, including termination of services without refund, for violations of these conduct standards.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LinguaNova English Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use our services.
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services.
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party.

Our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and under no circumstance will our aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you to the Academy for the services in question.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain types of damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our services or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
